So, what’s People Nearby all about? It’s a bit like Android’s Nearby Share and Apple’s AirDrop. It’s designed to make sharing files between nearby WhatsApp users super easy, even if you’re offline. How? Well, by using Bluetooth!
Here’s how it works: WhatsApp will create a special section just for People Nearby. You’ll find it in your app settings. When you open it, WhatsApp will ask your permission to use Bluetooth, access your photo gallery, and know your device’s location.
