Allowing Pop-ups on Safari:

For Specific Websites:

  • Open Safari and head to the website where you want to allow pop-ups.
  • Click on Safari in the top Menu Bar, then select Settings.
  • In the Websites section, click on Pop-up Windows.
  • Find the website you’re on in the list and click the dropdown next to it.
  • Choose Allow if you want pop-ups from this site, or Block and Notify if you want a heads-up whenever a pop-up tries to sneak in.

For All Websites:

  • Open Safari and click on Safari in the Menu Bar.
  • Select Settings.
  • Go to the Websites section and click on Pop-up Windows.
  • Under “When visiting other websites,” choose Allow from the dropdown menu.

Allowing Pop-ups on Chrome:

For Specific Websites:

  • Open Chrome and visit the website where you want to allow pop-ups.
  • Click on the “view site information” icon next to the website name.
  • Select Site settings, then find “Pop-ups and redirects” under Privacy and security.
  • Choose Allow from the dropdown menu.

For All Websites:

  • Open Chrome and click on the three-dot button at the end of the URL bar.
  • Select Privacy and security from the sidebar.
  • Click on Site Settings, then scroll down and click on Pop-ups and redirects.
  • Choose “Sites can send pop-ups and use redirects” to allow all pop-ups on your Mac.
